Xtrata is not only a perfectly wrapped multi-layered individual with a sense of what makes any style unique; he is also a self-made and self-taught electronic artist. Delving into the cosmos for his own brand of techxpirimental magic, he creates tracks using his own variations of sound and voice. Whether it's light or dark he is always reaching bass blasting, wall shattering madness. Since a young age Detroit's very own Xtrata has maintained a love for electronic music, stumbling onto the genre on his own and digging around to find his true interests.
Since his initial exposure he made a decision that he was going to be a part of the music. Inspired by artists like The Pet Shop Boys, Skinny Puppy, and Siouxsie and the Banshees Xtrata is versatile with large aspirations and deeply rooted creativity. Not limited to one form of art, Xtrata is deeply involved in fashion and clothing design on a daily basis as well as extending his talents to singing and songwriting. He has been producing music for nearly a decade but continuously changing as he goes. Over the past few years Xtrata has been developing his tastes as an artist, experimenting with different genres and continuously adding new elements into his sound. Xtrata's potential and lack of limitations mean that he is an artist to watch because his work is constantly reaching new levels. Creating numerous demos and being well received by the electronic music community, he was signed as an artist on Division X Records in early 2007 and is currently working in the studio on his next album which promises to assault the senses.
