Vacuumsphere has an eclectic musical background with experience playing and producing punk and death metal. His musical beginnings were with death metal group Switchstance, comprised of him and three close friends. He learned the importance of mood, timing and changes in tracks which helped to influence the ideas of his electronic music tracks.
Vacuumsphere, also known as Warren Doss, has experience producing and playing on the drums, bass and guitar. These skills come through in the use of live instrumentation in his tracks. His electronic music tracks tend to have ambient or techno elements in them, although he is influenced by a variety of different styles. He wants to “always be experimenting” which for listeners means that his tracks are always evolving, changing, and including new elements.
