Messerschmidt emerged in early 2008 committed to working exclusively on original projects. Having come back from a stint living in Toronto he was ready to bring new life into his music. Robert Messerschmidt is a native Detroiter who really tries to incorporate the sound of the city into his tracks. His work has a tendency to have an evil, dark and menacing sound but he has been known to incorporate lighter elements into his style.
