DivisionX Records: Dylan Baldwin

When Dylan was only 14 years old electronic music really shook him into recognizing an option that would become increasingly important in his life. Paul Van Dyk and The Prodigy showed Dylan the depths in music and brought him to a whole new level that made him wonder about his own potential. This is why shortly after his first moving music experience he purchased his first pair of turntables and began DJing, exploring genres from trance to Breakcore.

Dylan began to realize that DJing was not the best way to understand and feel the music to the fullest of its abilities. So, two years after he purchased his DJ equipment he began producing and made his first track using computer-based programs. This self-taught artist continued on in 2003 to begin using hardware that was given to him by close friend and fellow DJ Trevor Witt. Creating live music only fueled his deep passion for electronic music and pushed him further away from using solely computers for production.

Currently Dylan has dozens of tracks underneath his belt and he signed with Division X Records in 2008. His current sound crosses genres and mixes in a spectrum of futuristic sounds. His innovative outlook and quick decent up the ?music ladder? really shows how this artist still has his best years to come.
